POSITION DETAILS

The duties of a static security guard can range from traffic control, armed guarding, gatekeeping, patrolling and CCTV monitoring. This position includes prevention of trespassing, vandalism and a large range of other offences in and around businesses and work sites.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Current security license
• Full working rights
• Own vehicle + drivers license
• Conflict resolution skills + excellent customer serviceability
• Ability to work unsupervised and independently
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Prime level of mental and physical well-being
• Control room operators license in case of any control room work
• Prior experience in the field is an advantage
• Must be able to work rotating roster 7 days a week including weekends, public holidays whenever required
• Valid work visa

PRIMARY ROLE FUNCTIONS

• Address alarms and investigate disturbances
• Curate reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unforeseen occurrences.
• Monitoring entrance and departure of employees, contractors, customers, visitors, and other personnel.
• Address infractions or violations, and apprehend or evict violators from premises, using force when necessary.
